Hey y'all, and welcome to my little creative corner by the sea.

I'm an author, singer-songwriter, and storyteller
I write and sing about how beauty can be found in brokenness, and where God's love remains steady,
even when life feels anything but.
Whether through uplifting women's fiction, my Run River, Run blog, or my songs, my prayer is always the same:
May every story and every song leave you with a little more courage, a little more peace, and a deeper confidence in the faithful love of
our wonderful God.
A little about me
My husband, Brent, and I met in Christian school as teenagers, and all these years later we're still walking through life side by side.
These days, our six grown children and ever-growing crew of grandchildren fill our lives with laughter, adventure, and countless reasons to thank God for His goodness.

As most of us have learned, life isn't always easy.
For two decades, our family belonged to a faith community that began with remarkable beauty and promise.
Over time, however, control slowly replaced grace, leaving deep spiritual wounds in our family and in many others.
The years since have been a long, grace-filled journey of healing. Though I still wrestle with unanswered questions, I've come to know the gentle comfort of the Holy Spirit in ways I never imagined possible.
Though I will always love and miss my former church family, God has nestled us into the hearts of some amazing, Jesus-loving saints whose kindness continues to heal and delight us.
My stories aren't about perfect people.
They're about ordinary people discovering that God's faithfulness often shines brightest in life's darkest seasons.

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I write worship songs, healing songs, and songs to help you let your hair down.
Oh, and I also made a Christams album that I'm really grateful for!
Y'all can find my songs here on my website, and also wherever you stream your music. I'd love to know what your faves are. Shoot me an email if you feel so inclined. :)
