If Life...Then
-If life teaches you that you can't trust everyone, learn that lesson... and trust again- wiser now.
-If you find that not everyone understands you, be you anyway... and keep looking for other Swans.
-If you don't feel accepted for who you are... accept others without judgment.
-If you find yourself financially challenged, maybe even losing it all- rejoice in learning the difference between a need and a want, and when you can... rebuild.
-If it seems that every well you dig comes up dry, keep digging ... you're not dead yet.
-If you find yourself disillusioned, embrace the pain, and when you can... find the courage to believe again.
-If you feel that you have no purpose, find someone to give to... and watch your heart grow.
-If the concept of extended family has become a painful disappointment, focus on your own little brood...and write a different story for them.
-If the pain of loss of loved ones threatens to drown you, allow the tears, cry out to God, ask for comfort... For one day you will bring true comfort to someone because of your pain.
Life is struggle.
Life is learning.
Life is starting over.
Life is tears, and laughter, and confusion, and understanding-
all of it.
And all of it can create a better version of ourselves, if we let it.
